When outside is encased in ice, my preference is to stay snug inside, burrowed under my blankets, dreaming away the cold. Three winter months, chilled breath, crisp freezing cold below zero mornings. The short days of frost are upon us. I have to remind myself there are wonders to be found walking in winter. If I step out in it I can capture awe just outside the door. Winter in the Wattle, with love.
