Christine Sweeney, WILD WARATAH (BLACK & WHITE 2025)
Waratahs (Telopea Speciossima) in the wild have always fascinated me. The Muogamarra Nature Reserve near Cowan, NSW only opens for 6 weeks of the year to preserve the fragile ecosystems and Aboriginal cultural heritage and entry tickets sell out quickly. I was fortunate to secure a ticket and on this day I was focused on capturing the brilliant crimson flower heads and petals in BnW whilst using various techniques to highlight their unique beauty in the wild.
