Way of the Zulu reimagines the power and spirituality of the traditional Zulu mask through the medium of light painting. The flowing arcs of steel wool fire trails trace the fierce symmetry of the mask, symbolising ancestral strength, resilience, and transformation through light. The piece blends cultural reverence with modern technique — each spark and swirl evokes motion, rhythm, and ritual, bridging ancient identity with contemporary visual storytelling.
