Laura Crimmins, Untamed (PEOPLE 2026)
“Untamed” is a monochrome series documenting fleeting moments of unrestricted childhood along the Victorian coastline. Captured through the lens of motherhood, the series follows my son, a child with ADHD, as he moves instinctively through the shoreline, unable and unwilling to remain still for long. Rather than resisting movement, the work embraces it; exploring sensory freedom, emotional release and the raw honesty that exists within neurodivergent childhood. Through monochrome, distractions are stripped away, leaving only gesture, atmosphere, emotion and memory.
