Ruby Sewell, Tree of the drowned field (LANDSCAPE 2025)

Photos I've taken in my day-to-day life, living and working in the Shoalhaven region. First photo - captured in Pyree on the South Coast of New South Wales, this lone tree stood resilient amid the aftermath of flooding near Greenwell Point. The mirror like surface of the still waters speaks to nature’s quiet strength and the calm that follows chaos. A fleeting moment where water, land, and sky became one. Second photo - Taken on the farm at Burrier, this photograph captures a fleeting moment of stillness and wonder. As the sun sets behind rolling clouds, a lone silhouette, my boyfriend, stands with his arm raised toward the fading light. It’s a quiet tribute to connection, perspective, and the way nature frames the people we love in the most unexpected, beautiful ways. Third photo - A halo around the sun around 1pm in the day caught my eye as I was passing through Jaspers' Brush. Fourth photo - Beautiful clouds at Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven heads in the late afternoon.
