Lorenzo Passalacqua, Tokyo Drunk (TRAVEL 2025)
Tokyo Drunk is a visual hallucination — a farewell seen through the unsteady eyes of someone drunk on their last night in Tokyo. Shot entirely handheld, with no tripod or stacking, each image is a single breath of motion and light. Temples tremble, towers melt, and the city unravels into streams of colour as neon pours into the streets like veins carrying one last rush of life. With every frame, night bends closer to morning. And when dawn finally arrives, Tokyo softens — but the blur remains, and you can’t tell if you’re sobering up, or still dreaming with your eyes open.
