Sonia McNaught, Timeless Contrast – The Louvre in Black & White (BLACK & WHITE 2025)
Viewed from the outside, the Louvre stands as a powerful symbol of history, art, and architecture. In black and white, its presence becomes even more striking—timeless and untouched by the distractions of modern color. From this perspective, the Louvre feels less like a destination and more like a monument to human creativity. Even without stepping inside, you can feel the weight of its history, the silence of its age, and the beauty of its design. Through these images, I wanted to capture that stillness—the quiet awe of seeing something built to last, existing in a world that constantly changes.
