Kerryn Buckley, The Wings of an Eagle (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

My encounter with this Wedge-tailed Eagle was something special. It allowed me to get closer than I ever expected and only flew off when vehicles were approaching along the highway. The power in its legs and wings to take off so quickly was amazing to watch.
