A lion, giraffe, monkey, and elephant meet the viewer's gaze from within the zoo. While we often believe we are observing them, these portraits invite a different question: who is really watching whom? In each encounter, the boundary between observer and observed begins to blur, reminding us that curiosity flows both ways.
