Michael Hennessy, The tree of Deadvlei (LANDSCAPE 2025)

This series of photographs depicts the ancient trees of Deadvlei in the Sossuslei region in Namibia . The trees are thought to be over 600 years old, trapped in time by the shifting red sands on the Namib-Naukluft national Park.
