Alicia Vaccaro, The Textures of a Tree (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

I was wandering around the Bendigo Botanical Gardens when a tree caught my eye with cracking bark in a variety of colours. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful textures and abstract patterns in the bark. These four images highlight the amazing versatility in the one tree. The images make me think of gemstones, rocks formations and aerial landscapes. Who would have thought one tree would spark so much thought and inspiration.
