Summer rain fell in bursts, the air vibrant and clean beneath fleeting glimpses of blue sky. I lay on the ground for stability, aiming my lens up into the canopy, hoping to capture this magnificent creature without disturbing his natural behaviour. I stayed there for an hour and a half—sometimes taking pictures, sometimes just watching him… watching me.
