Lodi Pertovt, The Orange Glow of Mhla Kumbh (TRAVEL 2025)

This small collection of photos captures the spirit of the Maha Kumbh Mela through the colour orange — the robes of sadhus, the glow of marigolds, the dust in the air at sunrise. Amidst the vast crowds and sacred rituals, these images focus on the quiet, human moments that often go unseen: a small collection of pilgrims beneath a tent, a hand raised in prayer, a fleeting glance in the chaos. Together, they tell small stories of the warmth that runs through the festival’s sea of orange.
