Brian Love, The Living Desert Namibia (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

From a distance, deserts can seem desolate and devoid of life. On closer inspection, a myriad of animal tracks can be observed, including those of reptiles, insects, mammals and birds. These are the desert dwellers who, over millennia, have learnt to not only survive, but to thrive in these seemingly inhospitable condition. In this gallery, I present four Namibian Desert Specialists. Namib Dune Gecko, Shovel-Snouted Lizard, Peringuey's adder and Namaqua Chameleon.
