Feng Lu, The falls of Fairy Pools (LANDSCAPE 2025)

This photo was taken in June at the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. That day, the weather was stormy, with relentless wind and rain, yet occasional rays of sunlight broke through the thick clouds, casting a magical glow over the lush green valley. Battling the elements, I trekked upstream into the heart of the valley, where the rugged terrain and relentless rains have carved out countless cascading waterfalls. The first image captures the most striking waterfall—its power and form instantly captivated me. The subsequent falls, though smaller in height, each possess their own unique beauty, weaving a symphony of nature’s artistry.
