Goshaka Alugolla, The Edge of a Glacier (AERIAL 2025)

This series of photos demonstrate what happens to the ice at the edge of a glacier. First photo shows the streaking patterns on ice at the edge and the second photo shows how the giant ice chunks have separated from the main body of glacier. The third photo show those huge ice chunks floating in the glacier lake which is frozen due to winter temperatures. The last image shows frozen and cracked surface of the glacier lake with huge glacier ice chunks floating on it. The line where the lake meets the ground is marked by hundreds of cracked ice blocks. This series of images were captured in February 2025 at Iceland with a DJI Air 2S.
