YORI HIROKAWA, The black church isolated in the wilderness (BLACK & WHITE 2025)

This place where only black and white exist, the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. To protect against the harsh Icelandic climate, the little wooden church is coated in pitch. The contrast between the flat walls of the black church and the lines formed by the remaining snow on the mountains was just stunning.
