At the Enlighten Festival in Canberra, I photographed The Astronomer outside Questacon, exploring how light, composition, and perspective could reimagine this inspiring work. The festival’s vibrant displays offered the perfect backdrop to make the sculpture stand out, highlighting its beauty and spirit. More than a monument, The Astronomer represents resilience, history, and our enduring desire to explore the universe. Through a creative lens, I aimed to capture not just the form, but the story—paying tribute to one of my favourite artworks and the city I love
