Brendon Gilchrist, Tawaki Penguin (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

The Tawaki Pengui is one of the worlds rearist penguins found only in the southwestern corner of New Zealand's South Island, It was my first visit to Munro Beach I had no idea what to expect or where on the beach they exited the water, to my suprise the existed in the roughest part to then climb up a steep rocky cliff to there beds for the night, It was a privilage to watch and capture these beautiful Penguins with only an estimated 2500 to 3000 breeding pairs.
