Kate Powick, Swimming, Lake Hawea (NZ) (LANDSCAPE 2025)

The water was cool but it didn't stop the swimmers doing their thing in Lake Hawea, on New Zealand's South Island. Included in these swimmers was one intrepid and very fit dog (captured in one image here), and with a backdrop like this and the beautiful light at this time of day, it was a wonderful time to be behind a camera.
