While we marvel at the remarkable colourings of the Male White-winged Fairywren in breeding plumage, there is something captivating about their appearance in partial breeding plumage. These little guys have a majestic yet somewhat dishevelled beauty to them, and to capture them at just the right time of the year is a real pleasure.
