Michelle Bowen, Serendipity (LANDSCAPE 2025)

Having photographed Constitution Dock and the wharf area around Hobart many times, I knew to prepare for changeable conditions but on this November morning I wasn’t prepared for the magic that awaited. It was a day when everything seemed to fall into place. The generally busy wharves were unusually quiet, the gentle breeze ensured calm waters creating vivid reflections, the atmospheric clouds added to the mood while the whole scene was bathed in glorious early morning light.
