Kerryn Buckley, Road Kill Feast (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

Wedge-tailed Eagle feasting on the tendons in the tail of the dead kangaroo on the road. When spotted, I cautiously got out of the car, grabbed my camera and started walking slowly towards him whilst taking photos at every opportunity. As cars passed, he flew off a couple of times and would always return to the roadkill.
