Linda Waters, Restless Indeed (ANIMAL & NATURE 2026)

It was late afternoon in April and the sun was low. A couple of Restless Flycatchers were foraging for insects using their 'hover and pluck' technique. They hover not far above the ground, arching their bodies with head and tail pointed downwards flushing the insects below.
