Lorenzo Passalacqua, Refusing Stillness (TRAVEL 2026)

Surf rescue is not about stopping the sea. It is about moving with it. From the shore, the launch happens in seconds: boat, crew and water are forced into the same violent rhythm. I used in-camera motion blur to hold onto that feeling — speed, spray, impact and partial visibility — rather than freezing the rescue into something cleaner than it was.
