Heather Markland, ‘Red’ (LANDSCAPE 2026)

These images were captured on the TranzAlpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth, on the South Island of New Zealand. I loved the rugged beauty of the landscape, but the vivid rust color of the trees as the train sped by was also very captivating.
