Akane Hatai, Rare Hope - The Diademed Sifaka (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

I was fortunate to photograph this critically endangered diademed sifaka (Propithecus diadema) in Madagascar’s rainforest - a species so elusive it’s rarely seen in its natural habitat. It moved through the high canopy with speed and grace, an unforgettable encounter with one of the world’s most threatened primates.
