Isa Yap, Rainbow Beach (JUNIOR 2025)

I captured this image on Rainbow Beach, while on holiday in Bonny Hills. I used a 30 second long exposure and homemade LED light sticks I made with my Dad. It was the last night of our holiday, and so after dinner, my sister, Dad, and I decided to walk to the beach at night and experiment with our light sticks. We had a lot of fun that night, running around in the sand and water in the dark with our light sticks. That night was fun, exciting and spontaneous, and this image is a visual representation of the feelings I felt that night. This photo is a stunning reminder to keep some excitement, spontaneity and magic in your life, and also of our wonderful holiday on Rainbow Beach.
