Maxim Roden, Projected Selves (PEOPLE 2026)

A study of identity shaped by light, shadow, and perception. Using projected imagery as both illumination and narrative device, these portraits explore the space between the subject and the image cast upon them. The interplay of projected forms, deep shadows, and restrained colour creates a layered visual dialogue where presence and projection merge, questioning how we construct and reveal ourselves in contemporary visual culture.
