Annaliese Gillett, Praying for rain (ANIMAL & NATURE 2026)

A small wallaby was spotted resting in a field during a gentle rain shower. Rather than seeking shelter or moving, it remained still. Over time, it stretched its neck upward, closed its eyes, and held its arms down, giving the impression that it was in a state of prayer. The area hadn’t received rain in quite some time so its presence offered relief to all.
