Serena Frost, Peaceful Dissonance (TRAVEL 2026)

Captured entirely on analog film with a manual Canon AE-1, this series documents a day spent wandering and driving the sweeping 800-hectare alpine landscape of Deer Park Heights. This series begins with welcoming gates wide open, inviting you to see what is inside. As your eyes float across each imagine, my hope is that you can feel a sense of what it is to experience this location. You see the honestly of life in the expression of animals who lay every card on the table. Anger. Possession. Indifference. Peace. I was drawn to the way the landscape allowed opposing emotions to coexist. The act of traveling is an art of observation and this location is a thrilling experience of surrendering to unpredictable moments that somehow invite peace.
