Jonathan Holliday, Orange and Grey (AERIAL 2026)

Orange and Grey is a series of 4 aerial images taken from a salt lake at Wahpool, Victoria. The orange colours are due to salt tolerant algae while the grey colours are due to sediment influx and algae suppression at the edge of the lake. The images should be arranged and viewed as quadrants of a compass i.e NW, NE, SW and SE to show the complex interaction of colours, textures and patterns typical at the edge of the lake margins.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
