EDWARD SIWICKI, No early retirement (PEOPLE 2025)

Vietnam 2025 small village found an elderly lady 102 still working, she was dye painting linen with a black pigment, her hands were arthritic but she persevered what a great woman. I enquired why she wqs still working at her age and was informed it gave her a sense of purpose and she was still contributing to the village income stream. My first thoughts were she should be retired and enjoying life, but then I realised she was doing something positive and enjoying it. What a great work ethic and her skill level at decorating the linen was amazing for any age yet alone someone over 100 years old. I can only hope to live as long and still be as active.
