Ron Webb, Neon Cuckoo Bee (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

Parasitic Neon Cuckoo Bee (thyreus serrator)collecting nectar for itself. The bee parasitizes the nests of Blue Banded Bees by laying an egg in the nesting burrow beside the food store. The egg hatches first and consumes all of the stored food.
