Marcus Ward Curran, Moonrise at the Watertank (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

I was having a BBQ at a mate’s house in ‘Candelo Heights’ appreciating the view and warm autumn arvo and then this big round thing popped upover the hill. Had no plans of taking any shots while out but that's why packing the camera is always a good idea. One of those days when everything in the image comes together. Noisy corellas in the autumnal turning plane tree, late light casting on the facade of the Town Hall, powerlines drawing the eye up, a carwreck on the hill and then that ol’ moon popping to say good evening behind the watertank. I didn’t plan it.. it just worked out that way. Shot handheld - Single exposure
