Danny Ambida, Molonglo River and Trees (LANDSCAPE 2025)

It was a misty winter morning in Canberra, at a park overlooking the Molonglo River. Fog was covering the surrounding landscape. The little tree and its reflection on the foreground, however, made an interesting heart-shaped subject. The color of the trees on the background appeared less vibrant but evoked a feeling of tranquility. Still, I was happy to find and capture beauty in the ordinary. The next day I was back at the same park. This time the sun had risen and the mist had already cleared. Still, it was another opportunity to capture the scene under the soft light from the clouds which brought a clear and colorful view of the landscape.
