This photo was taken on the day my grandparents were laid to rest with a scattering of their ashes at sea. It was a very foggy, wet, grey overcast day - reflective of the mood. The lone buoy seemed to represent to me how while everyone was together, navigating grief can sometimes feel like wandering alone through a fog.
