Peter Nydegger, Honey Possum (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)
These Honey Possums (Noolbenger) are the size of a thumb. Usually nocturnal they can sometimes be seen during dark and cloudy early mornings. They are endemic to Southwestern Australia and are an important pollinator in the local ecosystem. Though seldom seen their conservation status is in the Least Concern category.
