Paula Walland, Harmonious Havens (LANDSCAPE 2025)
This series celebrates the peaceful splendour of Victoria’s waterfalls, capturing moments of stillness and natural harmony. Lady Bath Falls in Mount Buffalo National Park invites reflection with its gentle cascade, overseen by delicate ferns. At Genoa Falls in East Gippsland, water tumbles and pools whilst being framed by rugged boulders. Toorongo Falls near Noojee reveals the dynamic energy of a larger cascade, as it plunges over the edge, splashing nearby ferns, rocks and fallen logs, while Amphitheatre Falls, also near Noojee, offers a fine misty veil creating a sense of tranquil immersion. Together, these images evoke a peaceful communion with nature, guiding the viewer through a visual journey of calm, lush and harmonious landscapes.
