Australia’s remote, remarkable and World Heritage Listed, Macquarie Island (Macca), lies 54 degrees South in the Southern Ocean. The island is perhaps best known for its wild weather and astonishing abundance of bird and animal wildlife. When landing on "Macca" all the elements were in play. Struggling with cold temperatures, sleet, wind and rain the goal was to try and isolate some wildlife action. Venturing towards the water a small group of Royal Penguins emerged from the masses. They appeared to be relishing the challenging conditions while joyfully practicing their dance moves.
