Ying Jennifer SUI, Golden Pheasants (ANIMAL & NATURE 2025)

Gloden Pheasants are very shy and extremely difficult to find. They can run quickly from detected disturbance. I was traveling in China and was invited by birding friends to try our luck. We finally spot 2 males and 2 females during our second day, in a national park in Henan, China. Unfortunately the female was not interested in mating, but we are still thrilled to see these beautiful pheasants.
