Stingless bees are the only bee species that have a soldier caste of bees in their hives to protect it and fight off predators. This Australian Stingless Bee’s hive had a wasp hanging around and flying a little too close to this entrance so these soldiers arranged themselves around the entryway to hopefully prevent access.
