Vicki-Louise White, ForestRays (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

On a recent holiday in Queensland’s Scenic Rim, I was determined to explore as many mountains as I could squeeze in. The morning I was leaving my accommodation for the next stop, I thought I’d grab some breakfast first. But then I glanced across to the ranges behind me and saw the fog rolling through. I couldn’t load my gear into the car and check out fast enough! Driving down the misty road, surrounded by lush green, I kept stopping again and again. Each bend revealed a new view and I’d think, this is the shot, until the next corner, when the scene would be even better. And then I came across this one. I knew instantly it was the shot I’d been chasing.
