Kathy Brown, Fierceness (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

The magnificent determined fierceness showing in this osprey's behaviour as it aggressively defends its territory with it's latest catch was a fantastic moment for me to capture. There was another bird of prey in the vicinity and i could hear the osprey warning the bird in it's continual high pitched whistling before i evened saw it. I managed to photograph the osprey from the breakwall in Iluka Bay while it was on it's usual feeding pole. It continued to feed on the fish regardless. Iluka Bay, NSW.
