Robert Crutcher, Eimeo Beach: The First Hour (LANDSCAPE 2026)

Captured over the first hour of a single dawn at Eimeo Beach, this portfolio traces the changing character of the coastline through the first hour of daylight. Each image records a distinct stage of the morning, from brooding pre-sunrise light, through the first warm illumination of the volcanic rocks, to the vibrant reflections of sunrise and the calmer retreat of the tide. Together they illustrate how rapidly changing light, sea and tide can transform the character of a single coastal landscape.
