Matt White, Easing of the rains: Winton floods 2026 (LANDSCAPE 2026)

Massive floodwaters surrounded the town of Winton in Central Queensland this year (March 2026). As the rain eased, the skies offered breathtaking sunsets, while birdlife returned to the flooded landscape. In each image, I’ve tried to capture birds against the floodwaters, adding a sense of life to the scene.
