The images capture a stormy coastline where shifting sea grasses, restless water, and an expansive sky are animated by the invisible force of the wind. In the distance, a solitary kite surfer appears almost incidental, a small figure within a turbulent landscape, it serves as a quiet reminder of the intimate relationship between people and the natural elements. The title, Discussions About Wind, borrows a familiar phrase from my kite-surfing friends, who use it while reading the beach, assessing gusts, tides, and weather before entering the water. These conversations are both practical and poetic: they reveal an attentiveness to subtle environmental changes and an understanding that the wind, though unseen, shapes every movement across the landscape.
