Kate Powick, Boy and Bike, Jamieson (SINGLE SHOT 2025)

Taken in Victoria's high country, a place where kids can still roam freely on bikes without too much bother. I was charged with photographing them flying down the hill , but the sky behind was so magnificent I did force them to stop for at least a minute or two so I could capture them still and against it, before the big descent! This angle really gave a sense of perspective, and the consistent beauty of a huge expanse of uninterrupted country sky.
