Kim Talento, Between Light and Immensity (BLACK & WHITE 2025)
As I wandered through the vast grounds of the Hassan II Mosque, I felt dwarfed by the towering arches that rose like gateways to the sky. I wanted to capture this experience by taking photographs of the silhouettes of people dwarfed by the grand arches that frame them. In stark black and white, light carves sharp patterns across the ground while shadows stretch endlessly, merging human presence with monumental form. For me, these images celebrate scale, geometry, and the quiet poetry of fleeting moments beneath the enduring structures.
