Graham Bowden, Bees In The Basel - But Beware (ANIMAL & NATURE 2026)

I have a basel bush in my suburban back yard which is a magnet for at least five species of bees but it also harbours dangerous predators. The White Crab Spider set itself up on one of the flowers and stayed exactly there for five days until finally a European Honey Bee got too close and it grabbed its prey. Then it was gone within the hour.
